About

Sarah Drummond Studio began very simply: a love of interiors, beautiful fabrics and special pieces for the home.

What began as a personal project during Covid gradually grew into a small business, allowing Sarah to turn something she genuinely loves into a living, while working around life with her two little girls, who you may spot making an appearance in the Bigger Than the Baby photographs.

Everything in the collection is something Sarah genuinely loves and would have in her own home. Fabrics are chosen from some of her favourite designers, with pieces created around the colours, patterns and details she is naturally drawn to.

The cushion collection has grown to include Limited Editions - special designs made in very limited quantities that, once they’re gone, are unlikely to return - alongside a core collection that is made to order. Sarah believes the most beautiful homes are the ones that feel personal, so one of her favourite parts of running a small studio is being able to adapt these designs to make them a little more individual to you.

The studio is also growing beyond cushions, with handmade lampshades and accessories including tissue boxes and doorstops, and pouffes coming next.

Almost every cushion is still handmade by Sarah in her Berkshire studio, including every bespoke cushion commission. As the business has grown, Sarah occasionally works with trusted makers to help with the collection, while remaining closely involved in every piece. When you get in touch, you’ll always be speaking directly to Sarah, whether you’re an established interior designer sourcing for a project or choosing something special for your first home.

Quality and ethics matter enormously to the business. Leftover fabrics are always put to use and the soft-plastic packaging from fabric deliveries is taken to be recycled. The materials that go into each piece are considered just as carefully, including working with feather-pad suppliers committed to responsible and ethical sourcing.

From homes just down the road in Berkshire to orders travelling as far as Australia, it still feels incredibly special to see something from Sarah Drummond Studio find its place in someone else’s home.
